An important event is the festival of the city, which is celebrated on August 15, the Dormition of the Mother of God.

The events begin with a traditional evening service in the church " Assumption of the Holy Virgin" and a solemn procession in the Old Town. Simultaneously, several art venues in the Old and New Towns host concerts.
