Biographie

Zhivko Ivanov holds the position Asset Management Director at Galaxy Investment Group Ltd. since 2012. In this role he is responsible for all the hotels under the management/ownership by Galaxy Investment Group, including the five-stars city properties - Hilton Sofia and InterContinental Sofia – with 440 keys, as well as the seaside business of the company – consistent of 5*****, 4**** and 3*** hotels with more than 1 100 keys. Currently, Mr Ivanov is Vice-President of the Bulgarian Union of Balneology and SPA Tourism (BUBSPA) and takes active participation in different working groups at the Ministry of Tourism, National Board of Tourism, Bulgarian Congress Bureau, etc. Galaxy Investment Group invests, develops and manages projects in different categories of real estate – hotels, residential complexes, office buildings, retail and industrial projects. Company’s portfolio of hotels is oriented toward high class, mostly internationally branded assets. Among them are the hotels Hilton Sofia and InterContinental Sofia in the city of Sofia and Royal Beach Barceló in Sunny Beach resort. They have been recognized with the Bulgarian prestigious award of "Most Effective Investment in Tourism" and "Holiday Complex of the Year".
