The church “St. Nikola and St. Panteleimon” (“St. Nicholas and St. Pantaleon”) located in the upland neighbourhood of Boyana, Sofia, or Boyana Church for short, is a mediaeval monument, part of the UNESCO World Heritage List, famous for its remarkable XIII century murals, painted by the elusive “Boyana master” – collective name for a team of artists, comprised possibly of a master-painter and his students.
