The house was built at the beginning of the 19th century. The exhibition in the living quarters traces the historical development of Bansko from its emergence to its liberation in 1912. The emphasis is placed on the significant place that the settlement occupies in our national history and its remarkable contribution to the affirmation of Bulgarianness. On the ground floor of the restored farm buildings, interesting finds from archaeological research in the region are exhibited. Ceramic fragments and fully preserved vessels, the diverse coin material, the abundance of glass, exquisite jewelry, etc. testify to activity since the time of the Thracians, which continued throughout antiquity and the Middle Ages. A rich ethnographic exhibition presents in a unique way the essence and peculiarities of Bansko life. The diversity of material material, characterized by elegant simplicity, accessibility and ability to serve man, combines the purely practical requirements of life with the aesthetic ideas of our ancestors.
