"If we are looking for the litmus, the proof of true timelessness, it is - the ability of the ingenious eternal work to excite us and give us images, emotions, interpretations and answers to our searches and eternal questions. Such a life has the works that have outgrown their time, among which the songs and musical works of Joseph Tsankov are proven. As his grandson, I have lived with his work for years and feel admired for the "treasury" he has left for generations.
For some time now I have been a lecturer at the National Academy of Music "Pancho Vladigerov" and I realized that new generations have lack of knowledge in large number of Bulgarian composers, in particular the work of my grandfather. This, combined with my love of chamber music, gave birth to the idea of creating a cycle of 20 miniatures, for a quartet of trombones, based on the music of Joseph Tsankov."

The boutique concert, performed by four trombones, will take place on March 20, at SYNTHESIS Gallery, at 57 Vasil Levski Blvd.
The program was established with the support of the National Culture Fund and will be donated to National Academy of Music "Pancho Vladigerov".
