The play "The Lake" by Mikhail Durnenkov - a grotesque picture of modernity through the prism of the coming Apocalypse. It all starts innocently, with a picnic in nature. The lake, called by Chekhov's characters "dark and sinister", now floods the whole world and on its surface remain survivors of love Nina and Nikolai. Until when?
