"YAVOROV, LORA and MINA IN THE HOUR OF BLUE MIST"

"Digital Theater" is realized with the support of Sofia Municipality, under the initiative "Solidarity in Culture".

The performance "YAVOROV, LORA and MINA IN THE HOUR OF THE BLUE MIST" is dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the poet's birth. It was built on the poet's correspondence with Laura and Mina. The director and author of the dramatization is Boyko Iliev, and the cast consists of: Elena Petrova, Ivan Radoev and the young actress Mariela Topalova. Nina Pashova is an artist of the production.

The love of Laura and Yavorov, its tragic end remind us of some ancient poem about love and death. Mina remains like a dream for the poet, like a poetic vision that he does not dare to land. In her feminine majesty, Laura rises to the height of a heroine of legends, who with her own death wins the love of a loved one. The letters of both are in themselves works of art, they reveal them to us as extraordinary human beings, created outside of any measures that challenge the world and the people around them. Their two names have merged forever, surrounded by the lights of poetry and legend. Yavorov, the miserable blind man, the rejected by society, the poor without means of subsistence, the disgraced by rumors, the murder suspect does not stop repeating until his death: "my dear Laura". In the darkness of his blindness he sees the immeasurable greatness of love, more strong from life and death ...
