In 1928, when Paris was living under the rhythm of the crazy years, the dancer Ida Rubinstein commissioned Maurice Ravel to compose music for her future ballet. Stiffened by anxiety and unable to find inspiration, the composer turned the pages of his experiences - the initial failures, the interruption during the Great War, the impossible love with his muse Mizia Sert... Ravel immersed himself in the deepest corners of his soul to create his universal work "Bolero".
